"HOME IS WHERE HOUSE MUSIC IS..." this mantra says pretty much everything about multitalented DJ and producer Alex Botar.
He started djing at the the age of 16 and quickly gained the reputation as a highly talented and well respected artist. Resident-gigs across Germany were soon followed by international bookings.
Alex Botar was as well a regular presence during the high and fly days of the „Love Parade“ rocking the turntables to thousands of fans.
Beside his nightlife gigs he expressed his passion for house music as a freelance music editor, contributing to the success of renowned magazines such as "Frontpage", "Highlights", "HotVision", "Mushroom" and "Subway".
A few years ago he launched a successful live project called Diva La Disco, which turned the world into Alex Botars oyster. Together with singer/songwriter Mizmoni he had countless live-gigs in Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
Alex Botars recent collaboration with Micky Friedmann is a winning combination. Their latest single „RUB“ is getting rave reviews and mad respect from DJs all over the world and charted recently #7 on the American Masterbeat Charts
Alex Botar is also a sought after remixer for prestigious labels like KULT, Tommy Boy, Madizzy and Del Records. He recently remixed Inaya Day´s release „I never had another love“.
He is known and respected in the industry for his charm and professionalism, which opened doors for him to work with artist like, Blake Lewis (American Idol Star), popular American dance artist Lea Lorien, Billboard Carts artist Ron Perkov, one of UK's most demanded house singer Alec Sun Drae as well as Thailands top-DJ Nakadia and one of Germanys hottest deep house producers Lukas Greenberg.
