After successful international productions and DJ performances DJ Marotta
and Deat Manga founded TIGER AND DRAGON.
The Viennese producer and DJ Deat Marotta celebrated its greatest success in
the UK and Germany. This led to collaborations with international artists such
as Roger Sanchez or Sharam Jey. Productions have been published on labels
like Ministry of Sound, Defected or King Kong Rec.
DJ Manga rocked all hip event locations in the European clubbing scene, especially
in Italy and Spain and was one of the first German Resident DJ’s in the U.S.
sunshine state of Florida.
Since 2007 TIGER AND DRAGON established several club events and celebrated
in all major cities. Their progressive “freshest” sound brings housy vibes to the
techno clubs in the country. Highlight of the festival summer 2009 was next to
the “Ruhr in Love” the booking as Mainact at Nature One Festival. Here, TIGER
AND DRAGON stood as the sole representative of the NRW area on on the house
of house stage together with mates as Disco Boys, Tom Novy, Milk & Sugar and
Moonbootica.
Following the huge success of their Top 20 debut single “Feel” the follow up
“Rapture” was the first TOP15 chart success for TIGER AND DRAGON. The track
was worldwide distributed by Kontor NM (Central station Australia and Soulcandi
South Africa and so on). Until now, “Raptur” was released worldwide on more
than 30 compilations, including Kontor Top of the clubs and Sony’s club sounds.
The next party smasher “the dream” hits the charts #13 in the second week.
